Denny Menter has been playing guitar for as long as he can remember, and his love for it hasn't dimmed a bit. As a solo acoustic guitarist, he focuses on the songs that shaped him — the classics, the deep cuts, the ones that seem to find their way back into your memory the moment you hear them again.

There's something he enjoys about watching people reconnect with a song they hadn't thought about in years. That moment of recognition — that's what keeps him coming back to the stage.

While acoustic guitar is his home base, Denny is equally comfortable on electric lead or bass, and brings those skills to the several collaborative projects he's part of. Whether solo or with a band, the approach is the same: play the songs well, play them with feeling, and trust that the music does the rest.

 

Based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Denny performs regularly across the region and is available for concerts, private events, and everything in between.
